How You Can Help
There are many ways in which you can get involved in Pro-Life activities. We have listed a few below. If you have questions or other other ideas related to getting involved, please contact us to discuss them.
Give
- Donate pro-life books and magazines to public and school libraries.
- Donate baby clothes, furntiure, etc. to pregnancy care centers.
- Donate used maternity clothes to pregnancy care centers.
- Donate money to pregnancy care centers in honor or in memory of friends.
- Financially support a pregnancy care center or other pro-life group regularly.
Educate
- Teach your children to say "no" to sex and why saying "no" is in their best interest.
- Be informed on life issues - abortion, infanticide, euthanasia, and fetal experiments.
- Discuss the issues clearly with friends.
- Help your children write and talk at school about pro-life issues (science, current events, English paper, etc.)
Write
- Write letters to newspapers expressing your pro-life position.
- Write letters to legislators expressing your pro-life position.
- Write letters of encouragement to pregnancy care leaders or pro-life activists.
- Write notes of cheer to the elderly, sick or newly single parent.
- Circulate and sign pro-life petitions.
Do
- Make baby quilts and items for pregnancy care centers.
- Make a gift bag of small baby items for a new mother.
- Participate in local "life chain" events.
- Join pro-life groups.
- Use pro-life bumper stickers.
- Use pro-life cards and stationary.
- Wear "precious feet" pins.
- Wear pro-life t-shirts.
- Call talk shows that are discussing life issues and express your opinion.
- Support pro-life companies.
- Use pro-life physicians.
- Volunteer to wash maternity and baby clothes for a pregnancy care center.
- Volunteer to do general office work at a pregnancy care center.
- Take meals to a single mom or caregiver.
Pray
- Pray daily for your local pregnancy care center.
- Pray for pregnant single mothers.
- Pray for abortionists.
- Pray for legislators.
